Manufactured under the Sistrah trademark It was Otto Müller, who, in close tandem with the students at the ‘Institute of Light technology of the Technical University of Karlsruhe’ developed the lamps. Mullers designs were the Teutonic equivalent of the PH lighting system. The idea behind their design was to make the bulb invisible in order to create a dazzle free light. From their inception in 1931 Sistrah and Muller produced a range of lighting from desk lamps, pendant lamps, medical lamps, billiard lamps and even street lamps. Their clever branding slogan ‘Sie strahlt hell’ (She burns brightly)(SISTRAH), their annual catalogues and the amazing built quality made Sistrah the lamp of choice for many business owners. Condition Report Fully re wired with modern electrical components, some patina to the brass surface, One of the inner rings has a small hairline crack but affect the function of the light.
