''Antonio Vangelli's painting has always seemed to be touched by this particular kind of grace: a perennial research for the visual and musical accord between signs and colors, between ringing notes and more restful peaceful traits, between nervous thrills of the pictorial gesture and great quiet''. This contemporary work has been realized by Antonio Vangelli (Rome, 1917 - Rome, 2003), an Italian painter and artist. Under his father and his brothers, he began his career in painting in 1938. In 1943, he took part to the IV Quadrenniale of National Art at Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome. He matured in the ''Roman School'' from 1943 together with the painters Giulio Turcato and Emilio Vedova. His exhibition activity began in 1943 with his participation in the IV Quadrenniale of National Art. In 1948 he was present at the V Quadrenniale of the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome for the ''National Review of Figurative Arts''. In 1953, he exhibited in Rome at Palazzo Venezia for the Marzotto Prize. In 1961, he exhibited at the ''Le jardin des arts'' art gallery in Rome; in 1965, he was present at the IX National Quadrenniale of Art in Rome at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni.

Quest'opera contemporanea è stata realizzata da Antonio Vangelli (Roma, 1917 - Roma, 2003), pittore e artista italiano. Sotto la guida del padre e dei fratelli, inizia la sua carriera pittorica nel 1938. Nel 1943 partecipa alla IV Quadriennale d'Arte Nazionale al Palazzo delle Esposizioni di Roma. Dal 1943 matura nell'ambito della ''Scuola Romana'' insieme ai pittori Giulio Turcato ed Emilio Vedova. La sua attività espositiva inizia nel 1943 con la partecipazione alla IV Quadriennale d'Arte Nazionale. Nel 1948 è presente alla V Quadriennale della Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna di Roma per la "Rassegna Nazionale di Arti Figurative". Nel 1953 espone a Roma a Palazzo Venezia per il Premio Marzotto. Nel 1961 espone alla galleria d'arte "Le jardin des arts" di Roma; nel 1965 è presente alla IX Quadriennale Nazionale d'Arte di Roma al Palazzo delle Esposizioni.
