Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Molteni, walnut, wood, Italy, 1970. This well-designed chest of drawers/secretaire has a modern and clean aesthetic based on a solid construction executed in only honest, wooden materials. The designer duo eliminated the traditional use of doorknobs by implementing the four drawers with protruding edges that act as handles.
