He contributed to many newspapers of his time, such as The Laugh (including The Red Laughter), The Butter Plate, The Smile, The Bayonet, The Gazette of Bon Ton, Comœdia, Der Querschnitt, Vogue, Vanity Fair, The Chronicle of the Month, Paris Toujours, The French Courrier, Le Crapouillot, Le Figaro, Paris-Midi, Paris-Soir . Besides being a prolific illustrator (over 60 referenced books), he has also produced advertising drawings and theater sets. This artwork is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any artwork in Italy created over 70 years ago by an artist who has died requires a licence for export regardless of the work’s market price.
