Excellent conditions, lightly browned paper, with normal foxing and stains, left margin slightly damaged, higher margin with binding holes. Giovanni Battista Piranesi Undoubtedly Piranesi was one of the most important engravers in 18th century even if he was well-known as an architect and an archaeologist: the greatest engraver in the period from Rembrandt a Goya. The generations after him have continued to imagine the Ancient Rome as the artist has portrayed his magnificent in ''Vedute''. References: L. Giovanni Battista Piranesi Indubbiamente Piranesi è stato uno dei più importanti incisori del XVIII secolo anche se era noto come architetto e archeologo: il più grande incisore del periodo da Rembrandt a Goya.
