Paesant Woman is an original artwork in pencil on two creamy papers realized by the French artist and illustrator René François Xavier Prinet, between the end of the XIX and the beginning of the XX centuries. The State of preservation is good. The artwork representing a paesant woman, with a basket in hand. The composition, is characterized by soft pencil strokes that define the composition and create chiaroscuro effects to enhance the volumes of the nude body in its youth. Her face is created in skillful details that enrich her deep looks. In the second sheet of the drawing there are two miniature drawings, not very clear. This artwork represents a preparatory drawing for a painting. Monogrammed by the Artist. Hand-signed in pencil on the back of the drawing. René François Xavier Prinet (Vitry-le-François, 1861 - Bourbonne, 1946) Prinet was a French painter, illustrator, portraitist and decorator. He exhibited at the Salon des Artists Français and at the Salon des Tuileries. In 1986, a great exhibition was held at the Musée Bourdel, Paris. The artist gained two special medals in 1888 and a golden medal in 1890.

La composizione, è caratterizzata da morbidi tratti di matita che definiscono la composizione e creano effetti di chiaroscuro per esaltare i volumi del corpo nudo nella sua giovinezza. Il suo viso è creato con sapienti dettagli che arricchiscono il suo sguardo profondo. Nel secondo foglio del disegno ci sono due disegni in miniatura, non molto chiari. René François Xavier Prinet (Vitry-le-François, 1861 - Bourbonne, 1946) Prinet è stato un pittore, illustratore, ritrattista e decoratore francese. Ha esposto al Salon des Artists Français e al Salon des Tuileries. Nel 1986, una grande mostra è stata tenuta al Musée Bourdel, Parigi. L'artista ottenne due medaglie speciali nel 1888 e una medaglia d'oro nel 1890.
