Jan Vlug, Dutch decorator, trendsetter, product designer and collector, designed a series of offices and private residences in Brussels, mainly in the 1970s and in collaboration with the designer Jules Wabbes. On the 29th floor of the Rogier Tower, this fabulous modernist bar owned by the Vastapane family hosted the international jet set between 1958 and 1978. Pelé, Marlene Dietrich, Sophia Loren came here to drink cocktails at an altitude of 117 meters and to marvel at the view of Brussels as well as the interior of Vlug.
