“Putti” Sarreguemines, Barbotina Art Nouveau, France - France
Beautiful center in French Barbotina made around 1900 following the Art Nouveau style. This piece of Sarreguemines presents three angelotes or Putti holding an intense blue vase called Sevres. This vase is enriched by green garlands carried out with meticulous precision. Exquisite technique, huge detail, classicist faces of the infants and carefully chosen colors, with bright varnishes that put them in value. Visual balance in the composition.
Not all pieces are marked, some just carry the word "Mayolica."
