Se aprovechan is an original artwork realized by the great Spanish artist Francisco Goya in 1810. Original Etching on paper. The artwork belongs to the famous series ''Los Desastres de la Guerra'' realized during the years of the Independence Spanish War, published in 1863 and representing the horrors and the despair of the War. Signed on plate on the lower left corner. Titled on the lower central margin ''Se aprovechan'' (They take advantage from it). Numbered on the lower left corner. Etching N. 16. Excellent conditions. Two Napoleonic soldiers take away their clothes from dead prisoners. Sad booty from which these soldiers take advantage; the corpse lying in the center present a secularization of the evangelical theme of the Deposition of the Dead Christ, a resource already used in the first print. This artwork is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any artwork in Italy created over 70 years ago by an artist who has died requires a licence for export regardless of the work’s market price. L'opera appartiene alla famosa serie ''Los Desastres de la Guerra'' realizzata durante gli anni della Guerra d'Indipendenza spagnola, pubblicata nel 1863 e che rappresenta gli orrori e la disperazione della guerra. Firmato su una targa in basso a sinistra. Firmato sul margine centrale inferiore ''Se aprovechan'' (Se aprovechan). Numerato in basso a sinistra. Acquaforte N. 16. Condizioni eccellenti. Due soldati napoleonici portano via i loro vestiti ai prigionieri morti. Triste bottino di cui questi soldati approfittano; il cadavere giacente al centro presenta una secolarizzazione del tema evangelico della Deposizione di Cristo morto, risorsa già utilizzata nella prima stampa. Quest'opera d'arte viene spedita dall'Italia. Secondo la legislazione vigente, qualsiasi opera d'arte creata in Italia oltre 70 anni fa da un artista morto richiede una licenza per l'esportazione indipendentemente dal prezzo di mercato dell'opera. La spedizione può richiedere giorni di gestione aggiuntivi per richiedere la licenza in base alla destinazione finale dell'opera d'arte.
