About Roche Bobois…
Roche Bobois is a company of French origin that, since its foundation in 1960, has been dedicated to marketing collections of high-end furniture, sofas and other accessories.
The company arises from the union between Philippe and François Roche, owners of a store in Paris, and Jean-Claude and Patrick Chouchan, owners of the Au Beau Bois store at that time. After their meeting in 1960 at the Copenhagen fair, they dedicated themselves to manufacturing and importing Scandinavian furniture to Paris. This is how they began to sell this furniture and other accessories such as textiles, tableware, or upholstery in their boutiques. They even dedicated a floor to renovation and decoration projects, thus creating the famous Roche Bobois brand.
Over the decades they have managed to establish themselves as one of the most relevant luxury decoration houses worldwide, knowing how to combine and reinterpret the French furniture tradition with foreign influences, both Nordic and Bauhaus. Since the beginning of the 21st century, the brand has developed internationally with the establishment of boutiques all over the world. Likewise, he has collaborated with designers, architects and artists who have created various furniture and accessories for the brand.
