Born in Rimini (IT) in 1966, where he lives and works. Nato a Rimini (IT) nel 1966, dove vive e lavora. Si diploma al Liceo Artistico di Rimini e all'Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna (IT). Durante gli anni di formazione vengono allestite le prime mostre collettive e assegnati il Premio Morandi e il Premio Zucchelli (1985/1986/1988). Nel 1991, realizza la prima mostra personale a Roma curata da Alessandro Masi dal titolo Geologie, dove indaga la materia, il vulcano primordiale e la luce, con un timbro pittorico segnato dalla forte componente materica, tra astrazione e figurazione. Il magma materico, che segna la prima opera, lascia il posto a figure di luce, che definiscono essenzialmente gli angeli. Nel 1993, espone alla galleria dell'Opera di Napoli, con un testo di Alessandro Masi dal titolo: Il quadro dell'annunciazione, tracciando le prime espressioni delle figure di luce, e nel 1994, alla Dogana dei Grani della Città, e nello stesso mese, alcune sue opere sono ospitate presso il prestigioso complesso della Certosa di San Lorenzo a Padula, in una mostra curata dalla Soprintendenza ai Beni Artistici di Salerno, Avellino, Italia. L'opera genera il lavoro della mostra del 1998 su invito del Centro di Poesia Contemporanea dell'Università di Bologna con una poesia inedita di Roberto Carifi; mentre il pubblico nello stesso anno da calle perduta, edizione d'arte con una poesia di Rosita Copioli, editore Raffaelli mentre Omnia Mutantur realizza a Pesaro, un'installazione scultorea con una poesia di Gianni D'elia. Nel 1999, le Immagini pubbliche del viaggio e della montagna con il testo poetico tratto dai Canti Orfici di Dino Campana, l'opera entra a far parte della collezione dell'omonimo museo di Marradi. Nel corso dello stesso anno espone alla Galleria Comunale d'arte Moderna di Cesena The Alley, con una personale dal titolo La memoria come azione; il testo di Luca Doninelli e Marisa Zattini, mette a fuoco una fase importante della pittura dell'artista, ricca di occasioni e riconoscimenti. Alla fine dello stesso anno viene premiato alla Biennale d'Arte della Romagna, con un'opera selezionata da Claudio Spadoni. Nel 2000, le opere legate al verso poetico, vengono esposte a Barcellona, in Spagna, con la mostra Tra le righe della poesia in forma libera, realizzata in collaborazione con il GAI - Circuito giovanile Gli artisti italiani del premio Movin up, con il Patrocinio dell'Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Barcellona. È stato invitato a presentare L'immagine della parola, a cura di V. Dehò, nell'ambito delle manifestazioni per Bologna Capitale Europea della Cultura nel 2000 ed ha esposto presso la Galleria G7 un corpus di opere con una poesia di Scarlett Storm, dal titolo "hold on, foot united states", editore Campanotto. Nel 2001 è stato invitato da Claudio Spadoni, a recensire La pittura in Romagna, mostra che presenta le migliori espressioni dell'arte romagnola del Novecento. Inaugura la mostra Corpo d'arte alla Galleria del Senato di Milano con un testo di Valerio Dehò, che dopo Roma e Venezia, approda alla Galleria Lubelski di New York. Partecipa a diverse trasmissioni televisive tra cui ricordiamo Questa Italia per Rai International con un'intervista di Cinzia Tani e Studio aperto, intervista esclusiva a Claudia Koll, a cura di Irene Tarantelli. Sono anche gli anni in cui firma le scenografie di molti spettacoli teatrali tra cui si ricorda: Il giardino poetico con Lucilla Morlacchi, All'aura sparsa con Gianni Musi e Non son torri, ma giganti, per la regia di Vittorio Possenti e Roberto Gabellini. In questo periodo inizia a lavorare sulla dinamica del volto e della figura come corpo della pittura, un'idea di presenza-assenza che caratterizzerà il lavoro degli anni successivi. Nel 2003 espone con le opere recenti al Parlamento Europeo di Bruxelles; il 2004 si corona con i viaggi in Africa (già iniziati dai due anni precedenti), dove partecipa a workshop con artisti di varie nazionalità e la partecipazione con Z Arts alla Biennale di Dakar in Senegal. La pittura registra in questo periodo una contaminazione con i segni e le figure del continente nero; l'opera, nel 2004, entra a far parte della mostra Prima di bussassi, presso la Galleria Il Ram di Bologna. Nel 2005 espone con il Viaggio di Alessandria presso la Fondazione Ca' la Ghironda, Bologna e nella mostra, la collettiva Cuori selvaggi con la collaborazione della Galleria La Ram, e nel 2006 una sua opera entra nella collezione del Museo di Ca' la Ghironda. Nel 2007 espone Quadri per una mostra al CMC, il Centro Culturale di Milano e al Castello Malatestiano di Rimini, con la mostra Lato Adriatico. Nel 2008 inizia un nuovo ciclo di lavori, attraverso il quale si confronta nuovamente con il tema del paesaggio grazie a viaggi in Turchia e Palestina, da cui nascono diverse mostre e nuove pubblicazioni, tra cui Oriente e Hagarstone, complesso lavoro quest'ultimo, dove la pittura si sposa con la fotografia e il video. Nel 2009 partecipa su invito di Alberto agazzani allo studio Contemplazioni, una mostra che riunisce sul tema della bellezza i maestri della figurazione italiana e le migliori espressioni delle nuove generazioni. Nel 2010, dipinge una grande opera dedicata a Leopardi, realizzata sul palcoscenico del corso spettacolo Che fai luna in cielo, con Giancarlo Giannini che recita i canti del grande poeta recanatese. Nel settembre dello stesso anno, espone con la mostra Green Italy nell'ambito degli eventi per l'Expo, l'Universale di Shanghai, presso l'Università Tongij, dove una sua opera entra nella collezione permanente. il 2011 vede la partecipazione alla 54ª Biennale di Venezia per il Padiglione Italia nella sezione dell'Emilia-Romagna a Palazzo Pigorini di Parma, a cura di Vittorio Sgarbi. In occasione del 150° anniversario dell'Unità d'Italia, ha partecipato alla mostra Italiana al Palazzo del Podestà di Rimini. Partecipa con la Galleria Arteko' all'Art Market di Budapest con una mostra a cura di Aurelia Nicolosi, e il testo del catalogo, dal titolo aedo contemporary. Nel 2014, realizza la mostra Il mito del viaggio, la passione in un importante sito archeologico, quale la Domus del chirurgo a Rimini. È stato invitato a una mostra personale per Augusto e l'Impero, in occasione delle celebrazioni del millenario dell'auditorium del Palazzo della Cultura di Catania.
