Antique Wedgwood Creamware Queens Ware "Blue Flower' (Ludlow) Dinerservice ca 1900-1920
Beautiful Wedgwood Creamware pottery (Queens Ware) Dinner service with 'Blue Flowers and insect butterfly' from ca 1900
This Dinner service is made for the French Market. Therefore also instead of "Made in England" in the French " Importe d'Angletere.
There is a similar pattern that was made in the 60s/80s of the last century. This new pattern called Ludlow. May assume that it is also called Ludlow. But that is often not true. At Wedgwood it is often already the case by applying a butterfly (or something else) for example, there is already a different Pattern name. So this first predecessor of the later 'Ludlow has no set name. I simply all him 'Blue Flowers"
There is also one similar to this pattern, which is the more common coloured pattern "Queen Spray' Wich also looks very similar to the Blue Flowers.
It's just what you call it. But from my research it is different from the today's Ludlow.
The service consists of:
Souptureen - diameter 25cm (with handle to handle 30cm) - 20cm height
Underplate (for souptureen) - Diameter 33cm
4 Tureen with lid - diameter 20,5cm (hand to handle 24,5cm) - 15cm height
Saladbowl with handles - diameter 25,5cm (handle to handle 31cm)
2 sauce boat with fixed underplate - 19x9cm (underplate 23cm)
Big oval Game serving dish with strainer - 44x34,5cm - (strainer 33x23cm)
Oval serving (meat) plate - 39x30cm
2 Oval serving plates - 34x26,5cm
12 dinner plates - 25,5cm
12 deep soup plates 25cm
12 dessert plates 23cm
This al in very good condition. Some minimalistic wear.
Please take into account that you are buying an antique, old and or vintage tableware! These therefore have minimal wear of usage scratches (for example, when cutting the knifes on the plates) and with old pottery there may be craquallee present in the pottery. Which is very common with old pottery.

Antique Wedgwood Creamware Queens Ware "Blue Flower" (Ludlow) Dinerservice ca 1900-1920
