The "Buenos Aires" seating group is attributed to the most influential architect and designer of the Vienna Art Nouveau, Josef Hoffmann. The draft dates from 1905 and was first seen in the Jacob & Josef Kohn catalog from 1906 under model number 675 C/f (c = couch, f = flexible). In 1910 she was shown at the "Exposición Internacional del Centenario" in Buenos Aires. with this set, Hoffmann ensured one of his most important and famous furniture designs.
