Abstract sculpture in solid silver pounded Minerve, tertard brothers*for Léon Maeght Paris **, wooden base, most certainly trophy for golf tournament, from the start of the 20th century.

* Tertard brothers' goldsmith:
House founded in 1880 by Edmond Tétard (1860-1901) following the acquisition of the house of M. Hugo. In 1889, he participated in the Universal Exhibition and received a gold medal. The house specializes in Louis XV style services and rooms. In 1901, the house was taken up by its three sons, Henri, Jacques and Georges under the Tétard Frères company. from the 1920s, the house worked according to the models of Valéry Bizouard (1875-1945) and Louis Tardy (1881-1978), creators of avant-garde. Jean Tétard (1907-1980), son of Henri, also draws models for the paternal workshop. At the 1931 international colonial exhibition, Tétard Frères won an exceptional record: ten medals are granted to the creators of models and collaborators of the house. (see site decorative arts)
** Léon Maeght
was part of a family of jewelers. Born in Dunkirk in 1883, of a father himself a watchmaker, who died and buried in Amiens on Saturday January 11, 1936. One of his brothers, Georges, and one of his sons, Pierre, were also jewelers, the first in Dunkirk, The second in Paris. He was a jewelry / prolific manufacturer, expert with courts, and installed very early in Paris (22, place de la Madeleine), in Amiens (78, place des 3 Cailloux), in Lille (128 rue Nationale) and Arras ( 2 and 4 Gambetta Street). Much of his work was also co-signed "Tétard Frères" Orfèvres.

* Orafo dei fratelli Tertard:
Casa fondata nel 1880 da Edmond Tétard (1860-1901) in seguito all'acquisizione della casa di M. Hugo. Nel 1889 partecipa all'Esposizione Universale e riceve una medaglia d'oro. La casa è specializzata in servizi e camere in stile Luigi XV. Nel 1901, la casa viene rilevata dai tre figli Henri, Jacques e Georges sotto la società Tétard Frères. A partire dagli anni Venti, la casa lavora secondo i modelli di Valéry Bizouard (1875-1945) e Louis Tardy (1881-1978), creatori di avanguardie. Anche Jean Tétard (1907-1980), figlio di Henri, disegna modelli per l'atelier paterno. All'esposizione coloniale internazionale del 1931, Tétard Frères si aggiudica un primato eccezionale: dieci medaglie vengono concesse ai creatori di modelli e ai collaboratori della casa.
