Picasso also lived near the forest, taking inspiration from it and creating some dedicated works. This work has been realized by the French artist Gustave Bourgogne (Veignè, 1888 - Paris, 1968). Bourgogne has been the founder of an artistic movement called ''Musicalisme''. The group of artists created the Association des Artistes Musicales, published its manifesto and started to exhibit in many European countries.
