A stunning professionally refurbished Archie Shine Ltd Hamilton teak and rosewood veneer long sideboard by famous English furniture designer Robert Heritage, retailed through Harrods in the 1950's. This wonderful piece of furniture has many uses and could be used as a sideboard, drinks cabinet or a TV video unit in your living room.
Archie Shine Ltd was one of the elite British furniture makers and they retailed their furniture through the top London Retailers such as Harrods, Heals and other quality retailers. Archie Shine did not mass produce their furniture so their were not many of a particular design around keeping them unique for their exclusive customer base. This Hamilton long sideboard was designed by British Furniture designer - Robert Heritage who was the most awarded designer in the history of the British Council. Heritage designed the interior of the Queen Elizabeth II Ocean Liner with Ernest Race in 1968.
This Hamilton sideboard has been refurbished and is in excellent vintage condition. The sideboard comes in a wonderful teak wood with four drawers that sit to the left hand side and have reeded fronts and brass handles. The drawers are in good condition inside and out and the top drawer has the original green felt cutlery compartments, the 3 drawers below are divided into two by wood partitions making organisation a breeze. To the right of the drawers there are two wonderful rosewood veneer cupboard doors with brass handles that open to reveal two spacious cupboards with shelves either side. The shelves are such that you can place taller objects to the front such as bottles of drink. The sideboard sits on Mid-Century tapered legs. The top of the table has a wonderful grain and is in excellent condition. It has the Archie Shine Ltd label. You would be hard pushed to find an Archie Shine Hamilton sideboard in this excellent condition. It is a piece of Mid-Century history and is very rare having been made by top quality furniture manufacture Archie Shine Ltd and designed by top British Furniture designer Robert Heritage. A piece like this is likely to only go up in value, so as as well as having a unique, top quality piece of furniture it could make a wonderful investment as well.

Questa credenza Hamilton è stata ristrutturata ed è in eccellenti condizioni vintage. La credenza è realizzata in un meraviglioso legno di teak con quattro cassetti che si trovano sul lato sinistro e sono dotati di frontali a reticolo e maniglie in ottone. I cassetti sono in buone condizioni sia all'interno che all'esterno e il cassetto superiore presenta gli originali scomparti per le posate in feltro verde, mentre i 3 cassetti sottostanti sono divisi in due da divisori in legno che rendono facile l'organizzazione. A destra dei cassetti si trovano due splendide ante di armadio impiallacciate in palissandro con maniglie in ottone che si aprono per rivelare due spaziosi armadi con ripiani su entrambi i lati. I ripiani sono tali da consentire di collocare gli oggetti più alti nella parte anteriore, come ad esempio le bottiglie di bevande. La credenza poggia su gambe affusolate del Mid-Century. Il piano del tavolo presenta una splendida venatura ed è in ottime condizioni. Presenta l'etichetta Archie Shine Ltd. Sarebbe difficile trovare una credenza Archie Shine Hamilton in queste eccellenti condizioni. Si tratta di un pezzo di storia del Mid-Century ed è molto raro essendo stato realizzato dalla manifattura di mobili di alta qualità Archie Shine Ltd e progettato dal designer di mobili britannico Robert Heritage. Un pezzo come questo è destinato a salire di valore, quindi, oltre ad avere un pezzo unico e di alta qualità, potrebbe essere anche un ottimo investimento
