Aleksandr Petrovich Zinoviev
Painter, graphic artist, stage designer, illustrator.
Also: Zinoview / Zinovieff.
1908 Moved to Paris and pursued artistic studies there.
In 1912, he designed the stage set for "Carmen" in Toulouse.
He served in the French Foreign Legion during the First World War.
After the war, he worked for French and American magazines and designed interiors.
In 1938, he became a French citizen.
After the Second World War, he worked as a freelance artist.
Exhibitions:
In 1909, he participated in an exhibition at the "Salon des Indépendants."
from 1910 onward, he regularly participated in exhibitions in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
In 1914, he was part of the Russian section at the major "First International Graphic Arts Exhibition Leipzig."
In 1933, he had a solo exhibition at the Galerie Portique in Paris.
