Oak wood sculpture depicting the Virgin standing, her weight resting on her left leg, creating a spiral movement with her body. She wears a robe closed on the front by a tight row of buttons, while on her head she wears a long cloak that descends, draping her shoulders as well and creating a lively and plastic play of drapery in the lower part. in her left hand rests a small bird with outstretched wings, while with the opposite arm she holds the Child Jesus, who supports himself with his right arm to the body of the Mother. Both figures have serious, thoughtful expressions on their faces.Traces of the ancient polychromy are present: the mantle was originally red, while the inner part and the robe underneath were cerulean.
